About Us

Jill has a 20 year career in nursing with extensive experience in Senior Management roles within Acute Care, Aged Care and Rehabilitation Services. Until early 2008, Jill held the position, Director of Nursing, Continuing Care, Southern Health.

She has a particular interest in engaging clinical leaders in new ideas and initiatives for improving clinical practice, managing their departments and developing their staff. As a Director of Nursing, Jill has significant expertise in developing the next level of nurse leaders. She says it is her priority to prepare them for more complex senior leadership roles.

She holds a strong belief in integrating values within the workplace in order to build successful departments and organisations.

Her recent accomplishments include:-  

  • Coaching senior managers to operate successfully in local government and health care

  • Development of education modules for building positive work environments

  • Consultation with Residential Aged Care teams to attain full accreditation

  • Alignment of nursing education with clinical priorities and organizational goals

  •  Development and implementation of strategic nursing workforce plans

Jill is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Executives. She holds a Certificate in Professional Coaching from CoachCorp, Centre for Professional Coaching and is a member of the International Coach Federation Australasia.

Her qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Organisational Change and Development, a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing Management, a Coronary Care Certificate and General Nurse Training.

In addition, Jill graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and has 5 years experience in research economics and accounting in private industry working for companies such as BHP, Syntec Economic Services and CadburySchweppes.
